Cabo de Home

We wake up pretty late on a cloudy day and take the dogs to Playa Barra, a nudist beach. Fortunately that only goes for summer, 12°C is too cold to undress. Everywhere you go, you have to go by car, so I take pictures on the way of the Bateas, the platforms that lie in the water, collecting mussels.

light forest, a fallen tree marks playa nudista. The beach is nice and empty and the sea is playful, we climb on the stones and look at all the little life signs of shells and anemones and of course, plastic trash.

We drive some more to the light house of Cabo de Home, the way is torturing the car, but we make it, with very little daylight left. We walk to the light house, the dogs are exited, and I explain how ships navigate with only 3 colors of light and rythmic signals, as we see them blinking here and on the islands across. We arrive at the waterfront and it all looks Caspar David Friedrich. What a magical place.
